The “New Residents Multicultural Hometown Festival” is centered on the core concept of “Multiculturalism and an Inclusive Taoyuan.” Through a variety of activities, including cultural performances, international cuisine, specialty markets, DIY handicrafts, and cultural experiences, the festival showcases the distinctive cultural traditions and lifestyles of new residents from different countries.
The event brings together new resident organizations, Indigenous peoples, Hakka communities, and people from all walks of life. It incorporates the diverse cultures of Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and other countries into the event, allowing citizens to discover and appreciate the beauty of different national and ethnic cultures through food, music, dance, traditional clothing, and hands-on cultural experiences.
