The Department of Women and Children Development of Taoyuan City held the "Exotic Milk Tea Culture Experience" at the New Immigrants Culture House today (23rd). Featuring six unique milk teas from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Tibet, and Taiwan, the event attracted many families and young citizens. Through beverage demonstrations, tastings, interactive games, and Yak Butter Tea workshops, the event offered a relaxed way for citizens to connect with diverse cultures. Director Du Tzu-jung stated that milk tea is not just a drink but a carrier of unique historical backgrounds and culinary wisdom. Additionally, the "Exotic Clothing Exhibition" on the 3rd floor showcases traditional attire from seven cultures, including the Philippines and Malaysia, allowing visitors to experience Asian charm through colors and stories. The department aims to make Taoyuan a global platform for cultural exchange and mutual prosperity.
