Long-term Care Service Eligibility and Application Methods

1. Eligibility

(1) New immigrants must naturalize as ROC citizens and meet the criteria for long-term care benefits as stipulated in Articles 2, 3, and 7 of the "Regulations Governing Long-Term Care Service Application and Payment."
(2) New immigrants who are primary caregivers can utilize long-term care resources, such as: care and professional services, transportation services, assistive devices and home barrier-free environment improvements, and respite services. These services help reduce the caregiving burden and improve the quality of life for both the caregiver and the recipient.

2. Application Methods

(1) Online Application: Taoyuan City Smart Long-term Care Information System: ltc.tycg.gov.tw/tylcPublic/
(2) 1966 Hotline: Call during service hours: 08:30–12:00 and 13:30–17:30.
(3) In Person: Visit any District Office, Health Center, or Long-term Care Management Station in Taoyuan City.
(4) Fax Application: Complete the "Taoyuan City Elderly Frailty Assessment and Long-term Care Service Screening Referral Form" and fax it to (03) 332-1338.
