Taoyuan City Bus Driving Training and Employment Trainig Program

🙌 Eligibility (New Immigrant Status)

Foreign nationals, individuals from Mainland China, or residents of Hong Kong and Macao who are married to nationals with household registration in this city and have been granted residency in Taiwan, and who hold a valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), are eligible to apply.

Individuals in the aforementioned categories who, after divorce or the death of their spouse, are legally permitted to continue residing and working in Taiwan are also eligible. 

📮 Application Method (New Immigrant Status)

Applicants must submit the following documents in person to the Office of Employment Services and Vocational Training, one of the 17 Employment Service Centers, or the New Immigrant Joint Service Center:

1. The original signed Letter of Intent to Participate.
2. A photocopy (front and back) of the Alien Resident Certificate or Household Registration Transcript.(New immigrants who have obtained a National Identification Card should apply under general applicant status.)
3. A photocopy of a driver’s license issued by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
4. A copy of the Labor Insurance Coverage Record.
5. If enrolled in a professional union, fishermen’s association, or farmers’ association, a statement or proof of not currently being employed is required.
6. A preference list for special project job vacancies and driving school options.(Final job and training placements will be determined by Taoyuan City government.)
