Encouraging new immigrants to participate in community development and propose involvement in public affairs of their local areas.
To encourage organizations and individuals to promote community development in Taoyuan City and expand civic participation in public affairs, the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Taoyuan City Government has established the "Taoyuan City Government Department of Cultural Affairs Guidelines for Community Development Subsidies." Applications for subsidies are accepted annually from January to March. Any legally established organization or R.O.C. citizen aged 18 or older can propose initiatives regarding new immigrant public affairs to promote multicultural equality.
