(1) In accordance with the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act and the Regulations Governing Registration of Food Businesses, food businesses of categories and scales announced by the central competent authority shall apply for registration with the central or special municipality/county (city) competent authority before commencing operations. After completing registration, food businesses shall conduct an annual declaration to confirm the registered information. If there is any change to the registered information, an application for registration change shall be submitted within thirty days from the date the fact occurs.

(2) Registration method: Use an Industrial and Commercial Certificate, Citizen Digital Certificate, National Health Insurance Card, or other cards to log in to the “Food and Drug Business Registration Platform (http://fadenbook.fda.gov.tw)” to complete registration and data confirmation. Relevant operation manuals can be downloaded for reference from “System User Manual – Food” at the bottom of the platform’s homepage, or from the homepage of the Department of Public Health website ＞ Convenience Services ＞ New Immigrant Section (https://dph.tycg.gov.tw/cp.aspx?n=22534), where simplified translated instructions are provided.
