  1. [Vocational Training Course Fee Subsidy]: Unemployed foreign spouses and spouses from Mainland China may prepare the required supporting documents and apply to the organization offering the vocational training course for full fee subsidy.
  2. [Childcare Subsidy for Children During New Immigrants’ Vocational Training]: Foreign spouses holding a residence permit and Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau spouses holding a residence permit for family reunification, long-term residence, or settlement, who participate in vocational training organized by the Taoyuan City Government Employment and Vocational Training Services Office, and have children under 6 years old placed in a legal childcare institution, may receive a maximum subsidy of NT$5,000 per child per month for full-day care. The maximum subsidy per child per year is NT$15,000.
  3. [Vocational Training Living Allowance]: New immigrants (referring to foreigners, Mainland China citizens, Hong Kong residents, or Macau residents married to citizens with household registration in the territory of the Republic of China and granted residence to work in Taiwan) who are recommended for participation in “full-time” vocational training by public employment service agencies or selected by vocational training units organized or commissioned by government agencies may apply for a living allowance.

    (1) On the first day of the training, trainees submit the relevant supporting documents to the training unit. After review and approval by the Taoyuan City Government and the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, funds are allocated to the training unit, which will then pay the allowance monthly into the applicant’s account.

    (2) The allowance is paid monthly at 60% of the current year’s basic wage, calculated based on the actual attendance of the applicant. One month is calculated as 30 days. From the second month onward, if the attendance is less than 30 days: for 10 days or more with training hours of at least 30 hours, half a month’s allowance is paid; for 20 days or more with training hours of at least 60 hours, a full month’s allowance is paid.

    (3) If the applicant has received vocational training living allowance and other similar government subsidies within 2 years, the maximum duration is 6 months. For applicants with disabilities, the maximum duration is 1 year.
